Default Subsistence permit way upstream of bridge

Heading to the Klutina tomorrow to go fishing and was wondering what the copper is like at the mouth of the Klutina? The subsistence permit says that you can fish upstream of the bridge to the Slana River which is up past the Gulkana. Should I bring my nets, or am I missing something?

I called and they said that the only requirement is to be 500 yards from the mouth of any tributaries.
