    Default My Potatoes!

I grew my potatoes late this year. I was wondering if there is still hope for my plants this year. Each potatoes plant is about 1 inch high right now. Any tips would be helpful.
    Thank You

A little late but with the good weather, you might do OK.
    Good luck.

Weather, temperature of the ground, consistency of the soil, and specific hybrid or type of potato will all be factors in determining the outcome. You can always harvest smaller spuds and have them be quite alright, too. A continuing warmer summer, loose soil that permits roots and tubers to break through or grow will help, as well. And if the variety of spuds you're growing are early or mid-season, then you should do fine anyway. Remember, if you're relatively new to spud growing, they'll tolerate a fair amount of fertilizer/compost/etc.

Thanks guys! They have been growing great with the help of this weather! I also find a lot of help using Miracle Grow for all my veggies.
