    Default indian valley meats??

hi, I know I might be in the wrong section, but more people read the hunting forum. anyway, I have a bunch of moose sausage from last year and it's all a mix of Italian and breakfast sausage. problem is I can't seem to remember the color coding on the packages. there are yellow bands and blue bands on the 1lb packages. anybody know which is which?? just trying to save time so I don't thaw breakfast sausage for spaghetti

Indian Valley Meats (907) 653-7511. Call and ask which color bands are which. Hopefully they've got a color coded system for their products. Happy eating!

Easy solution - thaw a pkg at random - make it into a sandwich to eat for lunch. Be sure to record the color band on the package or you might have to use all the sausage packs for sandwiches (gasp).

Yellow is Italian sausage. Blue is mild breakfast sausage.

Some times it's better to ask certain questions around "friends" than ask strangers.
