No smoke till the park last week.
    Very thick Nenana area.
North of FAI was good vis till 20ish south of Bettles then very low again.
Bettles and western Brooks averaged 6 ish miles though.

FP, it's gioig to vary day by day depending on location, atmospheric conditions, wind direction and your position relative to the specific smoke generators. It's a beautiful, clear VFR day in Fairbanks today... expected to degrade some over the next couple days, especially in the mornings, as atmospheric conditions become more stable and large smoke columns collapse...

Ak_hunt, was that you dropping PJs into Kachemak Bay last week?

I was thinking about a trip into the Fort Yukon area... But I remember back when I lived there it was pretty smokey all summer long. Plus it is flat as a pancake...
