    Well done BT, thx for sharing! I assume you were able to use low mounts for that fixed 6X? I am trying to decide what I want on my Ruger Hawkeye in 358 and I do like the fixed 6 a lot having had them on a couple rifles. I truly loved the Redfield Wide fixed 6 mounted on a Rem 700BDL in 6MM - shot a lot of coyotes and fox with that puppy...

    Thanks Smokey, it all turned out really nice. It will be a lot of fun using it this fall.

    Very nice, I agree that wood looks much better than the plastic with the blued finish. That's an awfully nice rifle for the price you've got listed in the article!

    Yes it is a good price and I never expected I would end up with it as it is when I bought it for the comparison test.
