    Default Pioneer Meats - Bravo!

Just finished packing up an order of Black Bear Pioneer Slims and Jalapeņo Cheddar Dogs.

OutSTANDING! Lisa @ Pioneer knocked it out if the park. Both are fantastic.

She was super flexible on dropoff/pickup and it was done under a week.

We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

That sounds like Lisa. They do very good work there.

On those jalapeno cheese dogs (which I love), I have one cooking tip. Grilling tends to allow the cheese to run out. Leave the dogs in the one-serviing vacuum pack that they were frozen in and just put into boiling water. Since water can't go past 212F the cheese will be intact while the rest of dog is at its best.

Love their jal cheddar dogs and pioneer silms, still have a few left in the freezer from last years caribou as I had a lot of it made. Definitely going to get some more made this fall. Even had them cut, burger and package moose quarters for us last year as didn't have time to process it ourselves. They did an outstanding job, everything packed in vac bags.
