I wish I had pictures but I don't, was back in the film camera days so i cant post. we found a lake that eventually everyone found and got fished out and regularily caught 18-20 pounders. The biggest one we ever speared was 32 pounds and once couldn't get one through an 8 inch auger hole.

I've caught quite a number of large pike in the last few years.

I analyzed all those DRIFTER photos and after computerized analysis it has been proven that in all those pictures posted is only one rubber fish held at different angles in different light. Great fish DRIFTER
I have such a hard time trying to decide which outdoor activity to do every chance I get!! Living in AK is a mental challenge

It helps to live in the land of giant poikes!!!!
Still looking for that elusive fifty incher though.

I thought the pike grew fat there feeding on Kenai rainbows.

This pic was in the local paper a couple of years ago.
The lake this wish was caught out of is in town and there is a small diesel generating plant on it that keeps the water warmer.
It grows fish bigger and faster because of the warmer water. The lake is small @ 1/2 mile X 1 mile and 30 feet deep max.
