    Default Seat Mounts

I'm in the process of upgrading my seats this year in my 18' Sea Runner. I've found the seats, but I also want to upgrade the mounts. Currently we have both front seats on standard swivels. However, I am taller than the rest of my family, I also enjoy running my boat while standing. So, I ask you, my fellow sea capts, what seat pedestals are you running, and would you do anything different. I"m thinking that the best option would be seat boxes, with swivels that slide for/aft, and are height adjustable. With a seat box, they wouldn't have to be tall pedestals/mounts. Any input is welcome!!! And pictures speak a thousand words!!!

One of the various versions of power pedestals would work well for you I think.
This one gives you 5" of vertical adjustment.

You can also add a slide to get your forward/aft adjustment if you want as well.

Thanks Drifter! I have seen all the options in Cabela's and Marine West. I just have no idea what combo is the best for the price. Which parts are compatible? I like the idea of adjustability, but obviously, the more storage available in a 18' boat, the better. Lots of guys run seat boxes up here, and that's what I'm leaning toward, but would love to see some examples of nice setups.
