Thread: Russian River Scouting?

  1. #1

    Default Russian River Scouting?

Has anyone been out scouting the Russian for the opener next week? Seeing many fish in the river yet or are they going to be a little later with the late spring?

You're kidding! No one has been to the Russian River to check out the conditions or to scout for reds with the opener just a few days away?

My scout tells me there are some holding in the confluence but didn't see many in the Russian itself or shooting up.

It's what you do when no one is looking that counts.

    It's http://www.alaskaoutdoorjournal.com/index.html

    then go to the reports
    http://www.alaskaoutdoorjournal.com/...lerreport.html

For me it is good source of reports. And KK (site owner) explains questions for regulations, EO.
In the reports (archives) you find also information of waters no so well known like Russian .

Another nice thing are the run charts for many rivers with daily updates in season.
The site is a bit old-fashioned, but lots of fine information.
