There is a North Pacific Fisheries Management Council meeting going on right now. There are a lot of big things on the agenda. A lot of people on these threads have expressed concern on Salmon bycatch, and other bycatch issues for the groundfish commercial fleets. Well they are being discussed this meeting. Gulf of Alaska Chinook bycatch in trawl fisheries for example will be final action. Other stuff is being developed. Observer program review. All sorts of things.
