    Very sad indeed. I loved that lake for it's piggy rainbows and char. Makes me wonder how many interior lakes went thru this.

    Terrible news. For the little it's worth I haven't seen the same thing at Chena Lake or any interior pond.

    Good to know cause I won't make the long drive to fish there, but it's a shame to waste so much fish.

    The funny thing is that the bulletin board in Sportsmans says that for some reason nobody's catching much fish at Quartz.

    For what it's worth article about the hatchery says they boated around the lake and it wasn't as bad as they thought. Like I say it is the news minus.

    That is sad news. I feel for all you interior folks who liked to fish there. I hope the numbers come back up quickly.

    The other 299,300,000 people can have it.
