Default Took some video of spawning trout

Saw some rainbows hanging out in a little creek. I guess they were on the spawn or so they think. I'm pretty sure all the fish in the lake are sterile stockers. Anyway I had my new gopro and thought I'd see how it did under water

Not true. If u look at the stocking charts they put non sterile fish in lakes also. Wasilla lake are native with other lakes as well. I've seen some monsters spawning in the Palmer lakes

You bet! I had a lot of fun watchin them and eating my lunch. The fishing on the lake was horrible, only caught one small one in 2 hours. This was the next best thing to do

And a few people wandered in and left them alone too which was nice. As I pulled in there were a couple guys trying to catch them but they left as soon as I got to shore

Cool!!! The spawners can be tough. As much as I like to eat, I'm not sure I've ever thought "dang, I'm hungry...hold on a sec sweetie while I go make a burger."... in a situation that could loosely be interpreted as a similar situation for humans... Lol ok. Too much info maybe!

Cool video, thanks for posting. That go pro has some great quality. It would be nice if you could link them to stream like a webcam and have adfg place them in rivers and creeks around Alaska for another aspect of interpreting fish counts and for viewing pleasure.

It has wifi capability. Not very good but I bet some tech guy could figure it out. It will stream video onto my iPhone but it has to be real close
