    Default glenn allen bears

just got back and spent four days in the highcountry just outside of glennallen. i glassed a lot of mountains and country and didnt see any bears. i did see lots of tracks heading straight down the snow slides and down into the brush. any idea when these bears head back up into the alpine area?or do most of these bears hang out in the river bottoms til fall?

I was going to go there this past weekend but ended up staying around willow/Deshka Landing my buddy was at glenn allen on memorial weekend and said there was to many to choose from. he took 2 big boars In 24 hours and called it a day and spent the rest of the weekend fishing. ill ask him for more details of the area and get back to you.

Are you guys referring to browns or blacks? I was not aware there was a large population of black bears out towards Glennallen. How about around Lake Louise? Are there good numbers of black bears around there? Just curious?
