    Default Rainbow Smelt?

I have been wanting to see which rivers hooligan run up and someone here gave me this website: http://gis.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/FlexM....html?mode=awc

What are the hooligan called on the ACW Fish Species Chart? The only thing I see are rainbow smelt, but I'm not sure if they are hooligan. Thanks. ESF

hey Dave, you are a great source of information. Is this stuff off the top of your head or do you look it up?
If a dipnetter dips a fish and there is no one around to see/hear it, Did he really dip?

Rainbow smelt have 1cm long fangs on the roof of the mouth.
eulachon don't (small teeth on tongue though), but adipose fin (the small fleshy rear fin on top of fish) is only attached at the front part.
Capalin also don't have fangs, and adipose fin attached along entire length.

'Bout 50/50, I usually check a book for spelling and to make sure my memory hasn't failed.
