    Default First time getting hooligan

Went out this Saturday since the boat was down and weather was crapy and dipped some hooligan. We were able to get about 15 gallons in a short amount of time. It was fun and nice to get out of the house.

You must have timed that just right. I know and have read about a dozen accounts of dipping down there this weekend, as well as what they saw while dipping, and you're the only one that seems to have gotten more than just a few.

Yeah there wasn't many people getting any hooligan. We were not getting much at first either, but then we found there was a ledge in front of us and that the fish where hugging that ledge. After we found that out it was easy pickings.

Deep-fry them, bake-fry them, smoke them, use them for bait....just depends.
