Default Follow up to Kennectott Post.....Memorial Day Float

Ok....well...I'm trying to salvage next weekends trip. Anyone have any G2 on rivers that are thawed enough to scoot an 18' cat down? Matanuska? Haven't been up that way yet. Regal Air says all Susitna tribs are frozen up. Park Rangers in WSE say hell no. Open to any constructive suggestions. Appreciate the help.

Cody, hate to be a bummer, but we're behind on thaw by nearly a month all over the state. Memorial Day won't be the weekend to go anywhere I'm afraid. Even if they open up next week with warm weather, ice along the edges and possible ice tunnels would be a serious threat.

Tripod still up, here's a shot as of 7:28 a.m.

The upper Kenai has seen a few floaters this spring.
