We have what are locally referred to as salmon berries here. Lots of them. I haven't seen them anywhere else. They do not seem to like being transplanted or cared for in any way. They thrive on neglect. I fertilized mine one summer and they produced smaller berries than the bushes without fertilizer but in greater quanties. I love these things. It is like wanting a wolf for a pet I guess. Any advice? Should I keep gathering my berries from the dusty roadside or has anyone cultivated these berries? Tia
