Default Free Vessel Safety Checks May 18-19 Fred Meyer Eagle River

If you're in the Eagle River area and were all ready to hit the salt this weekend but then saw the updated crappy marine forecast and decided to not go, then you might as well drag your boat to Fred Meyer for a courtesy safety inspection by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Begins 10 AM.

Got mine done as well, need to cover the positive terminals on my batteries, other than that I am good. He passed me after I promised to take care of the batteries

LOL. He never even got in my boat. But that reminds me, I need to do the same thing.

Got mine done Sunday. They'd officially cancelled the inspection for Saturday and Sunday because of the snow, but fortunately one auxialiary person showed up anyway. The only thing that needed to be fixed by me (done on the spot) was a nav light that would not light. It was working in my driveway an hour earlier, of course.
