    Default Kenai Peninsula Razor Clams

Apparently APU is doing a study and found that the clam population is declining....the biologist out of Homer says that they're analyzing the data and any potential restrictions would likely come before memorial day weekend....any thoughts on the clam population this year?

We did good for what we expected with 155 during 3 tides ~ 2hrs each (6 hrs total) with only one gun.
Ended up with 24 canned half-pints of chowder base following the Ball Canning Guide and two quarts to make bigger batches.
Fish and Game were out there every tide cycle counting everyone's catch.
The last night was the warmest with the low only dropping to 43. That warmer low seemed to help more clams "show".
