    Default My first bear!

    well i never thought i would connect after all the unsuccessful trips.. it can be done! kenai road system black bear! my first bear ever! squared out at 4 1/2 feet, not a big bear at all, but i couldnt be happier to have finaky killed my first black bear a huge thanks to my buddy eric for teaching me the ways of spot and stalk

    That sir is a wonderfull bear and will eat great. Congrats and hope you have many more in your future. I have shot even smaller blackies,eat well.
    Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you

    Awesome man! Good job for sure in those conditions. So, how about the rest of the story! Like, did you think it was bigger, miss judged? It's tricky sometimes. How far up was it? How far of shot? You gonna rug it? Who you gonna have rug it, or what is your plan exactly? Again, congrats!

    Black bear makes some of the very best sausage there is....

    Yep Joe need some more hunt details!!! Congrats to you sir! My first black bear wasn't much larger and I got mine I'm guessing at a full 10 years older than you are! Way to go get it done. Congrats are in order for sure. Good work man!

    Excellent, sir...simply excellent. To add to the suggestions above, we got half of our last bear made into bacon and the other half made into bacon burger - both are incredibly good.
