    Default Best one piece broadhead...

Ok looks like my debate was a dual one, either NAP's new HellRazor or the G5 Montec, but I have to do a complete 180 on this argument, as I see Magnus Snuffers are not only cheaper, but they also have a lifetime replacement gurantee! & That no stink of it! So that answers my questions I had lingering for my next broadhead purchase...

What say you? What's ur fav one peice broad head?

Wink Two Blade All The Way!

Magnus, or Zwickey, I use em both, the Zwickeys seem stronger, but the Magnus fly like darts, add a heavy easton 2219, or 2317 at a med arrow speed, and you have a proven hunting/ killing machine! Oh sharpen them even if new, so that they shave hair.

Of what you have listed, the Snuffer. I always have some, but as I prefer two blades, use the Magnus two blade most of the time. If you use the two blade, grind the tip back about 1/8" to a chisel point to prevent rollover when hitting bone...

    Default Only ones

The only ones you listed that are a one-piece broadhead are the first two. Snuffers have five pieces: four pieces welded together and the insert. Magnus Snuffers are a four piece. Onyx would be a one piece. Everytime you add a piece, the possibilty of accuracy drops.

The only ones that are a true one piece broadhead because of the manufacturing process are the molded heads such as the G5 and Hellraiser.

    Talking Correction Dave...

"Snuffers have five pieces: four pieces welded together and the insert."

I just looked Hellrazors are welded as well, the Montec is the only, non-welded one piece out there...

    Default G5's

My son has the G5's. The powdered metal technology really makes them one precision piece of work. But if you bend one your done.

Now if they made a 150 grain head!

    Default Montecs are nice...

I saw them last season with a buddies brother who had them, but I love the lifetime gurantee that Magnus gives their snuffers...

I've always been a fan of Zwickey Deltas, 1.5" magnus and grizzly heads. Two blade heads are easy to field sharpen and penetrate large game extremely well.

    Default Montec

I haven't used a lot of broadheads, but I love the Montec. The price is high, but worth it. I get great arrow flight with them, and have killed two bear with them, both pass through shots in the ribs, and a lot of work pulling them out of the tree root behind the bear. They have a heavy wedge head for moving aside bone for the blade.

    Default ???

I think it is whatever flies the best out of your bow. I used Montecs on Moose, Bear and Caribou and never had any problems with them. A bud of mine had a accident with his montecs and hit two together in his target and the one that hit split in half. I am trying the Shuttle T-Locks this spring. I hit two together the other night and the one that got hit was cut into two parts. If you hit where you want to whatever you use will do the job.
