Default 3 May: Another Monster Caught!

Went for some hard Luck and landed this monster yesterday:

they are normally only about 3 inches, this one pushed out to about 4! LOL

I made a solo trip and hoofed it out on foot. Harding Lake has about 12 inches of soft snow cover and overflow. I fished open with no hut, saw one other angler, looked like he moved a couple times and was trying to find something to mark (I did the same). The ice is still about 2 1/2 feet of solid stuff. First trip for me ever in May. I did have three good smacks and I whiffed them all.

I needed the practice, and looks like I can squeeze in a couple more trips with the low temps hanging around.
