    how much snow is left in willow big swamp area?

    Hows willow/big swamp are looking for snow? Is it rideable yet?

    Cant speak for that area exactly, but Willow in general had about 16-18" total settled down to probably 10". Still lots of stuff sticking up, but rideable I'd think if you just want to get somewhere and you know what to look out for.

    I took the machine out for a quick spin on sunday and on established trails was bumpy, but not to bad. Boondocking probably not a good idea.

    10" settled is a good figure..We went out and stayed on the trail system just to get out.....there was a lot of overflow still in the swamp and in the creek beds. Stay on the main trail and you should be ok to get around....Creeks are still running under a thin ice shelf....

    probably less than 3" of new snow since yesterday morning....

    I am not quite as far north as Willow but just got back in a few minutes ago..Lakes are pretty solid...swamps are iffy..old 4 wheeler trails are pretty rough...we have about 4 inches of new snow over the ice (from the warm temps a few days ago)...still good to knock the summer dust off
