Default MAUSER MATCH, Kachemak Gun club. May 4th

It is that time of year again...
The Kachemak Gun club will hold their annual MAUSER MATCH on Saturday May 4th at the rifle range just south of Anchor Point... Shooting for warm up and sighting starts about 0900 hrs...

100 yards: prone, knelling and standing....
Bolt action or straight pull military rifles.

We should have some snacks and maybe a barbeque going for a lunch break....

I am still debating if I will use my 1903A3 or a Swede....

the ground is a little mushy and slushy... so a blue tarp might come in handy...

    What are the sight requirements?

    Iron sights? Military sights?

Stock military rifles with issue sights.

We have had a couple guys show up with Springfields which had been drilled and taped for scopes. but the scopes and mints had been removed and they used the regular sights ,,, so nobody cared...
