What's it worth . . ?
An acquaintance, stuck in the lower-48, is considering selling an RV he has parked up here.
It is a 2001, Fleetwood Jamboree, 22" with 55k miles on it. Real nice shape.
What's it worth? Or is there a "Bluebook" of sorts for RVs?
Help . . .
Might try taking it to an RV dealer for a trade in and get an estimate.
perfect time of year to move it, if the seller makes his move NOW. The prime selling season for those is short. If your acquaintance is a friend you might encourage them to get it cleaned up on posted on CL or at an RV dealer in the next week or so.
Thanks, guys, good suggestions.
However, no RV dealer closer than Anchorage, and the motor home is already cleaned and ready to go.
I know what my friend would like to get for his RV, but I suspect he's way too high. Would like an idea of what it's worth before embarrassing myself by trying to sell it for him.
Any ideas . . ?
Take a look at Craigs and see what something similiar is selling for.
Pick up a phone and call a dealer, send some pics to help them out??
Looks like 18-19G Marcus. http://www.motorhomefinds.com/fleetw...homes-for-sale Take in consideration the ones listed have 16000 miles, they are also in the lower 48. Also depends on how fancy it is with options.
Update: http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/2001/J...D-6-8L/3018351 Good Luck
Go to NADA.com and book it out.
One is you will need all the details: fridge size, # of vents propane tanks, batteries, etc;furnace size; hot water heater type and size, etc...
Second is NADA often comes up much lower than what folks are getting for their rigs, so a comparison of similiar rigs wil help you in adjusting that price.
Thank you . . .
