Default My new We-No-Nah Graphite Advantage

Just thought I would post some pics of my new solo canoe. There doesn't seem to be a lot of photos out there. It's 16.6 ft long and 29 lbs.

I'm now ready for adventure time on the canoe trails!!

I got it at Wilderness Way in Soldotna. Great little store and they can order anything you want canoe wise.

Good to know. I actually was on the phone with them when you posted your photos. Sharp looking canoe.

Very nice. Hope you get lots of use out of it for many seasons to come.

That is a sweet looking canoe. I have had the Wenonah Champlain for about ten years and love it. It's 18 feet long and weighs about 42 pounds. It's fast and tracks well and holds a lot of gear. Great for extended trips. Mine is a little much for solo tripping, but I take many trips with my son too, so it's a good trade-off. I'm sure you will love yours. I'm bringing mine up to AK this summer to do some exploring too...

Congratulations on your Wenonah Advantage. I have the Advantage in kevlar ultra light. Last summer I took it through the Swan Lake system, from the West entrance to Camp Island Lake, and then out the west fork of the Moose River. Great trip for a lightweight canoe. I do recommend the aluminum portage yoke that clamps to the tractor seat, and also a nice bent shaft paddle. The boat paddles fast and is more stable with some weight in it. You are going to enjoy your boat!
