Yes you can go to the gunshow and buy a 65 dollar brick of .22 from him or trade 15- .22lr rounds for a freshly killed pig or something . It's the money of the future!

If you're late to the party I would point out that Valley Armory has been at every Valley gun show that I've been to since Dec (or had a presence via someone with stock of his AR uppers and lowers), and has not been raising prices to Panic levels.

There is a cure for that............everyone take lots of firearms, and walk around selling them for 1/2 of value.

I remember going to gun shows withh dad and always finding some really good deals.

so what's the deal, everyone I've been to up here in the past 3 years has had retail pricing or more on most all items.

Isn't this an AK Gun Collectors show?

I find their shows to be hit or miss. One year there was lots of goods to look at and I found a good value on a rifle and a couple of old sxs shotguns. The next couple of years it was a ghost town with a couple of empty tables. Since this is a kid free weekend for me I just might wander out and see what is there.

Mooneyman, that is the way of personal sales up here. Things maintain their value due to shipping costs, and availablity - its here now and you don't have to wait. However, there is nothing to stop you from offering the seller less. Cash still talks pretty loud when the seller can see it in your hand.

Being the AGCA show, do you think it'd be worth me bringing in a pistol that I don't know much about, at all? I've asked about it on several forums and called several gun stores and no one can seem to tell me anything about it. I'm wondering there might be someone there who would at least have a book that has it listed...

YOU DO UNDERSTAND THAT THE GUNSHOWS "START" THE "DAY" BEFORE THE PUBLIC IS ALLOWED IN............Right.......??? The Show starts Friday At 5 or 6:PM for some people. So there is 4 hours tonight and 3 hours Sat. morning before the shows open........that those inside a running around looking for& buying underpriced goods. So that by 10:AM Saturday morning nearly everything that was under valued, has been bought and moved to the new owners table and priced slightly above fair market value.

So as a Life member of AGCA, I just go at 7:AM Sat. & buy what seems like a super deal to me.........and come home before the doors open to the public.

What is your point? Its not worth going to the gun show since you will snap up all the deals to line your safehouse before we get there?

Are you saying that you are a Star bellied Sneetch? or just bragging that you are in the "club"....

I say bide your time for a couple of months until all this ridiculous scamming and gouging is past, and then go out a buy components, "assault rifles" and large cap mags much like you did before we all shot ourselves in the foot. Prices may never drop to that of 5 or 6 years ago, but they will be available.... IMHO.

The consistant thing about this Forum is.............I try to help, and someone figures out how to Poop on my helping. My point is very SIMPLE if your modivation for going is to get good deals..........Join the AGCA and shop at 7:AM to 10:AM

Now I am re-reading your post.........and sorry I just don't see anything helpful.

My hate for crowds out - weighs my love for guns. You won't find me there. Ya'll have fun with that.

The other 299,300,000 people can have it.

Noone has a more intimate understanding of, or deeper appreciation for freedom, than a soldier who has fought for it in a country where it does not exist.
