Default Vinyl window cleaning and preservation ?

What should I clean my vinyl windows on my softop with - and is there any UV protection or something to put on them to help preserve them?

Sounds like soap and water. Here's a link from a Jeep forum. Don't use paper towels to dry (oops).

When I had a soft top, I used lemon pledge on the windows and it worked great. Then I started using that 303 areospace protectant on the top and windows too. Amazing stuff.

Pledge works great on the vinyl windows. Buff it out with a soft terry cloth. If you want to go one step better, buy some Plexus. Both products are commonly used in the aviation field for windscreens on cubs and windshields on snow machines. Plexus can be tricky to find but I found it at Marita or Ak Mining. Some of the other snow machine dealers might have it too. It's good stuff!!

I hear pledge a lot - but if you read the jeep forums - pledge will cause your windows to turn yellow.

Plexus is good stuff from the reviews.

I bought some mothers plastic window and headlight restorer - it has UV protection in it too.

I have been using the 303 on the roof...
