    Default Im done!

F--k winter... that being said, i got tired of waiting for warmer temps. today i decided to brave the crisp air and blaze my spring trail through thigh deep snow to reach my honey hole... usually the first trip of the year is a fruitless endeavor... not this year. my efforts were quickly rewarded with several nice fatties... end of story, heres the porn, er proof

I actually like fresh grayling. But the Chena is still c&r. And when you hate ice fishing as much as I do you take what you can get

Sweet! Thanks for posting the fish porn. Is that a fly or a rubber jig sticking out of that grayling's lips? Tight lines.

Just a small whit jig... haven't been able to coax a bite on fly out of this spot in the spring.. I thought a small white woolly bugger would do it swing how these jigs perform... but that was a no go for them

Really nice fish in the second picture. I've caught grayling through the ice on ponds, but not often, but at least you can keep those (even in the Chena drainage). They tend to be really small, though.
