Default NEW Homer Winter King update

After 3 skunk trips (including the tournament) we finally found kings today near the north end of the Bluffs. Both fish were in the 15-lb. range, with this one caught by Ruth being a white king to boot! An hour and a half of fishing on a beautiful Sunday afternoon cannot be beat...

Went out on Saturday, but 4' swell and chop kept us from getting where we wanted to go. Glad you had a good day today!

Very Nice - did you hook up on Monday afternoon? I gave up not too long after you left. Did you head back to your cabin or go look for some over by seldovia?

    Bull,
We went to the cabin for an overnighter. Our guest was getting ill on Monday so we didn't fish long enough. What boat were you on?

I was on the little 18' white searunner with the green top. The other boat out there with us looked like a 24 or bigger white fiberglass boat.

Attachment 70230Attachment 70231This weekend tested the crew of the Huntress physically and mentally, with 40 knot winds out of cold Northerly direction, and a fairly stubborn bite from the feeders... How ever we were able to get a few hook ups each day and put some smiles on these clients! mostly first timers, so always fun to be a part of a persons first salty!!! Lookin for that flat water!!! see ya out there!!!!!
