Default ESPAR fuel pump pin out?

Can anyone help me with the pin out for the fuel pump for an ESPAR fuel supply pump pump. I got to the point of wiring up the pump and I have to install the plug on the end of the wiring harness but have no idea which wire goes where. I have looked in all the paperwork and do not seem to be able to find it... I can call Advance Diesel in the AM but if someone can help me tonight I can get more done tonight.

What I need is someone to go out to there boat, look at the plug that goes into the fuel pump and tell me what color wire goes to pin one...

    Thanks,

    John

Here are a couple pics of mine. Not the best image though but hope it helps.

Looking at the bottom photo, the Greenish wire with the pinking red wire is on top, brown wire on the bottom. Also, the heater is to the left of the fuel pump. Hope this helps.

Just found a manual online that says "no polarity needed" on the fuel pump hook up, guess I just hook it and go...

Thanks for the photos and the phone call Rob. Hopefully by dinner time I will have heat.

It does not sound right that a connector/motor would have color coded wires and it does not mater if the wires are pos or neg.

Just make sure the information is correct, so you don't burn any thing out.

That sounds about right to me. With it being just a pulse pump, I don't think the polarity would matter either. Glad I could help you out.

Yeah, it's just a solenoid that runs the pulse pump so wiring polarity doesn't matter. I hooked mine up without concern for + or - anyway.

Got the same information from Travis at advance diesel and my Espar is now pumping out the heat. Still have some duct work to do, but the heater works... Woo woo.

Congrats and welcome to the very warm world of ESPAR. I still have some ducting work to do too.
