    Default marten bait and lure

Just asking for a little advice for marten.I,m headed up to Sitka next Jan. to try some marten trapping with a friend of mine that lives there. He,s doesn,t do any trapping and I,ve never trapped for marten.I,ve trapped beaver-mink-rats-coon- coyotes-bobcats and foxes here in Penna. Were planning on using 120,s in newspaper boxes.Any tips would be appreciated.have a great day!!!!

Try using some salmon heads, or viscera....., chunk of beaver, and or duck and grouse carcasses after edible meat is removed.

I used to swear by beaver for marten until I started trapping in southeast. I've found that anything bird is by far the best marten bait there, duck and grouse remains such as heads and guts.
