    Default Fishing this Sunday

Hoping to take my cousin ice fishing this weekend. She's never been and not sure where to go. Need something fairly close...maybe Big Lake? Nt sure if the ice is still thick enough on Big Lake? Or if we can drive on it still? Any tips?

To judge "fairly close" we must know where you need to be close to.

well its been below zero every morning for more then a week in big lake until this morning and its snowing like crazy but id have to say the ice has only been getting thicker 38" and going so no worries there is going to be plenty of ice for awhile but if it warms up soon just be carefull of overflow when driveing. big lake will be driveable this weekend though with no problems im sure.

Wherever you go, make sure you've got your fishing license...and for Big Lake, make sure you don't use bait!
