    Default Shageluk slough/ Innoko River

    Just wondering if anyone knows if Shageluk slough is naviagable from the Yukon to the Innoko.......?

    Yes it is. Higher water really helps though. Lower fall water levels can make it tough or unnavigable.

    Hey Thanks.....! Thinking about a long river trip this fall, coincide with hunting season and some pike fishing,, it just looked like a possible shortcut to the Innoko. Not very practical......would be a once in lifetime trip to see some new country.......

    Wondering what the current conditions might be like on Shageluk......? I hear the Yukon is low, maybe the recent rain has helped some......any info...?

    I hear that a group out of Fairbanks has been hammering that area the last few years. Big group, multiple drop-in NR hunters, possible illegal guiding.

    Good to know, we are debating whether to go to the upper Innoko or Kaiyuh flats...... I dont want to go all the way to Holy Cross if we cant use Shageluk Slough...
