Default Time to train the trainer

I've been working with guy all winter, I only hunt waterfowl with him. He is a 16 month old choc lab from LNR. Iam running out of drills to do with him in the snow. He doing well with the whistle, ok with side to side. The snow just sucks, finding bumpers under the snow by scent is a good challenge. I miss out on the weekend classes because my days off are during the week, looking for some help!

If you are willing to put in some commute time out to the valley I'd be glad to help. I'm out most afternoons and evenings training during the week.

Yeah, this place doesn't tell you you have a private message. You have to look for it, and it kind of gets lost in the noise at the top of the page.

Bumping this maybe he'll see it.

But, every week you don't train is another week lost and that much more chance that you won't wind up with a trained dog.

I do most of the yard drills in the winter in parking lots at night when the cars are mostly gone.

You can set it so it will alert you onscreen when you have a message.....

How well does he take a line? IMO.......this is one of the most valuable things you can teach a bird dog......ESPECIALLY a waterfowl dog.....
