Default Looking for advise for Kodiak trip

I am thinking about making a trip to Kodiak next fall for deer and maybe some sea ducks. I know there are several outfitters there that do these combs but have no idea about the areas or reputations. So I'm open for any advise or recommendations from anyone that has done any of these hunts. I am in the Anchorage area so its not a trip from outside. Thanks.

DIY, go with Andrews Air, South end of the island, I believe you'll have better success.

Send anonymous1 a PM. He'll give you some great options. You can also search the forum for Alpine Cove.

maybe take a look at zachar bay lodge. went out there last year with a buddy and got our limits on deer, a group came in after us with a pile of people and got all their deer as well. nice facility, goats are an option there too, and there were ducks everywhere! they have boats too so they can shuttle you around.

Thanks to all of you for your input. I will be talking to some of these folks in the near future. Also figure some of them may be at the Sportsman show next week so will check them out. Thanks again.
