    Default Stuck Case

I run into a friend today and he told me he had a case stuck in a Remington Speedmaster. He said the case would not come out and he tapped it with a cleaning rod and the case head popped off. The gun is out of the stock and the bolt is removed. Any suggestions? It is a 22 long rifle case in the gun.

Usually what I do is this:
1, Clamp barrel muzzle down in vise
2, Push a patch in chamber end just until it is forward of the front of the stuck case.
3, Heat and pour cerrosafe into chamber until the chamber is filled.
4, Let cerrosafe harden for a couple minutes, and then drive stuck case out from muzzle.
I've done this probably a hundred times over the years, works great and there is no risk of damage to the barrel. Quick and easy.

What is cerrosafe and where do you find it?

When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.
