Asparagus and Gardening
I have not heard of growing asparagus in Alaska yet, which has suprised me. Where I am from we had similar winters and grew it beautifully. Has anyone had any luck with growing it outside? It does like cooler weather and I think Alaskan summers are perfect. The only thing I would change is the pH. I think the soil would be a bit acidic for it, so maybe add some lime to the soil? Any thoughts anyone?
I've heard the KP is bad for growing gardens is this true? Do they mean growing is bad for veggies that like non-acidic soil?
Read through this old thread, might get some pointers out of it.
