    Default 22 250 Loading

I have been shooting Barnes TSX 53 gr and 32 gr of Reloader 10 in my AR15 22 250. At 50 yards I can cover 5 shots with a quarter. At 100 yards it go to an 8" plus spread. I dropped the powder down by half gr and then a full gr and saw very little improvement. Anyone have an idea or a good load that they like in the 22 250. I want to stay with the Barnes as I have had good luck with them.

A picture of your target might help.

I shot 22-250 for 5 years at coyotes in NM. 53 GR Match Grade Hollowpoints should go around a 4" at 400 yards in a bull barreled rifle.

    Are you scoped or not?
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

The twist is 1/14 with 24" bull and yes on scope it is a Burris Eliminator III. If I can figure out the picture thing I will try and post.
