    Smile hard to believe

    that with all the warm weather we've had lately, that NO ONE has asked yet if there is still ice on Willow Creek!

    I would but I'm not very interested in the willow, I never even fished it yet! Am I really missing anything?

    OK Gary...is there still ice on Willow Creek? and if not...did you try your luck yet?

    Nope, no ice on Willow Creek. Time to get out there and wet a line.

    Kings should be in any day now as well.....matter of fact, I had a 22" rainbow jump thru my pickup window and land in my lap as I was crossing the bridge. They are out there in HUGE numbers, just waiting to be caught.

    Drove past yesterday, there was a lot more open water on the nenana than willow.

    i was going to say that last week, I also noticed it was warmer in Healy then Willow!

    Yeah, if you watch the forecast on channel 2 - Willow is almost always the coldest spot in the Valley - at least the Parks Hwy side.

    Drove over Willow, Little Willow, Little Sue, all locked up tight. The Willow might of had a small lead open buy the south boardwalk still lots of snow and ice north of Wasilla. Just keep tying and/or take a trip Kenai way, was down there last weekend, water looked awesome and some folk out plying the waters.
