Default Noth Fork of the Chandalar River??

I know I am pushing the bounds here by asking about certain areas especially if it turns out to be someone's honey hole but here goes. Has anyone been back to the North Fork of the Chandalar River drainage and would a pack raft be a must or would waiders be enough? I have hiked the shelf and surrounding area before but never pushed that far in. I am choosing this area because it is general season for all species (one I plan on targetting and another that given the chance) and the east side of the North Fork is a good reference for the maditory 5 miles off the Dalton.

I know of a guide that hunts it. It sees some pressure for sure.

I've been in there on horseback- I don't think you need either. You can cross the creek easily just hopping on rocks
