Default Trailer guides for tractor launch

Where can I find those guides to put on my boat trailer for the tractor launch?

Alaska Mining & Diving has some real nice welded ones. Bought a set last year, easy to install. And I think better then the bent metal one you can order Cabela's or pro bass shop.

    Default How many?

How many do they require at the tractor launches? Just the pair on the back? (my trailer already has some flat aluminum padded ones that are on the sides, only two feet high though).

Marita Sea & Ski has them. I'd go taller than two feet.

When I called the launch and inquired about the requirements, they said that you must have guide-ons and they must be a minumum of 2/3rds the height of your boat.

    Default Found some

I'm going to pick some up tomorrow at Six Robbles, they are 67 a pair. I guess I'll get two pair and bolt them on, then attempt to hook, land, kill, and fillet every halibut and king salmon in cook inlet!

    Wildog,

Might want to Alaska Mining and Diving, they may be a little more expensive but might save you from buying a set and having them bend and having to replace them again. Never know what seas you'll be returning in. My 2 cents.

    Default Trailer Craft

I had mine made at Trailer Craft. They are custom for your trailer/boat and they are solid steel (channel iron) uprights that won't move or bend.
