    Good info. This is for a hypalon raft. You would need a different glue and MEK for a urethane or pvc raft.

    How many repairs has this guy done in the field? He makes it sound like he's done a bunch. Maybe I've just been lucky? I know anything is possible , but in my experience needing a repair is rare.

    I can recall 2 significant repairs in the last 6 or 7 years, out of an average of 100+ days per season on the water.

    However I have friends that raft some rivers down south with a lotta scree/shale/jagged rocks, and they have a much higher average. Overall the waters up here are fairly forgiving on rafts, but not elsewhere.

    All I can say is rubber is not plastic!! They are two different babies!! And are very different-- Been doing both since the 70'--- Just talk to your dealer on the craft you buy.
    never had to use mine.
