I got lucky, random act of fishing. They are still down there in the deep. I was able to match my success rate from last season (1 fish in February)

I cant say enough about my fishing buddy Alcanron. Without him I would not have the success or pictures that I do. There are few anglers I know with his passion and knowledge about catching fish.

Nice article. I bet you have more fans next week when everyone goes and tries it and the realizes the effort that goes into hooking that one fish!

You know its true, their may be a couple more anglers that will try their hard luck on the lake...I once heard this from a very wise source:

"Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try."

The lake has deflated the best at times.

    Wise, your words are...

Just to make sure, that's exactly what I meant. No sarcasm at all. I think you will see a serious uptick in people's appreciation for those that spend hours chasing trophy fish rather than more plentiful fish.

The lake might see uptick for a week or two, but frankly 90% of the people that have the patience to fish this style already know about it. Any temporary pressure will dissipate rapidly given the diligence and time that is required to produce in this lake from your reports.
