That is a good question, I hear they have been releasing kings out there since 2008. I know there are some other threads that discuss this whole King Salmon thing. But if its true we should be seeing some with good size hanging around early. Right? please correct me if i am wrong..

I've got to think there would be some feeder kings around, and as you roll into May there should be some bright chums to be had that are heading for Lake Bay. A dime-bright chum taken from the salt is pretty nice table fare, especially as the first fresh salmon of the year. If you're going to be out there anyhow, there's no harm in trolling a few spoons to see what is lurking in the depths.
