    Default Mud motor kit?

Anyone have any information or first hand experience with the mud motor kits sold on eBay. I was looking at one of these and looks like you could build your own 15hp long tail mud motor for around $1000. It seems easy enough to put together and you could get a small flat bottom boat and motor and still be a few grand cheaper than just buying a beaver tail motor alone.

It looks like a good deal parts are cheap and the kit has a 3 year warranty you can put a 15 or 16hp motor on it for around 300 and 499 for the kit. I wonder how well that would push a little 12 or 14ft flat bottom Lowe boat. New boat and motor for under 2k would be a nice little duck boat.
I just can't find much feed back about them anywhere

    Default Kit

Not a bad price...but might be worth just getting one of these all ready to go...minus the engine.

Wonder how well it would do with a 16 or 22 hp motor?

cant remember the guys name.. I was talking to him via email a few months ago. I have a Honda 13hp engine...he said it would work. Email him and tell him the manufactor name or check his site..main concern is the alignment. Give him a shout. Sure it will work.
