    Great article, thanks for posting. Iv'e been wanting to try my hand at carving a decoy for awhile now. He sure made it look easy!

    The carving part for a simple bird is easy. Once you start going for details and then feather painting is where it starts to get more complicated.

    Title Wave Used Books in Anchorage has several older decoy painting reference books in the waterfowl hunting section if you need some additional resources.
