Default The Rhyde interesting new flats style boat

At Anchorage boat show, 21' long 60" wide with tunnel hull kinda neat. I think they are going to make them here. Be interesting to see how shallow they can run signed up for a ride in the spring.

Nothing really new here, search for Rescue minor and see where it began. WWII 2, plucking the wounded out of tight places. This ones kinda like a fat canoe with a lifter.

It has merit....for my use, I would prefer another 3" of freeboard......and make it utilitarian to reduce weight and make it something other than a flats boat.

Yes I would want a more open hull boat, more free board and love the dry gunnel, it would be a dry boat, and think the tunnel has a lot of merit. They wanted input for the Alaska market.

What about running a jet or surface drive? What is the hull made out of? Not much info on the web site...

Looked like fiberglass, had some sort of testure on the bottom to protect it. Owner said it weighed around 700 #. Do not know about a SD or Jet.
