    Default First NFA Build Complete

Got my tax stamp back today from the NFA, so I got to putting together the AR components that have been sitting in my safe for six months now.
Build consists of Noveske 10.5" upper
    Stripped Noveske lower
    Del-Ton parts kit
    Eotech
    Tapco shorty grip.
Can't wait to see how she shoots.

I have shot AR's with the ergonomic grips and Magpul stocks, and personally not a huge fan. I am not dogging them by any means, but have used/ carried the basic furniture for so long both at the range and in country that it is what I'm the most comfortable shooting.

Also for anyone considering the turn around time from the ATF, the Form 1 was submitted with check 27 Jul 2012, and the stamp was received 9 Feb 2013. However, I did have a mistake on the Form 1 and it was sent back to me 26 Jan and I corrected the error and got my stamp exactly two weeks later. FYI Be sure the form 1 is front and back, instead of two pages (why mine was returned) also your check will be cashed about ten minutes after the ATF receives your application.

Cool gun alright! I have a 12.5 barrel 6.8 spc. Maybe I should just get the stamp and build it. Would also look cool with a silencer can.

Right on. Ya know what that translates into for you? SAVING MONEY!

I'm super jealous. Have you fired it with/without that KX3?
