    My buddy loren called in this big male a few days ago. Called in to 20 yrds and dropped it with the 12 using dead coyote loads.

    Yea Thats Loren Reese from Reeselanyards its his 4th kenai wolf in the last 4 or 5 yrs. The lice had gotten to it a bit.

    Oh that's too bad. But it does in fact seem to be going away......very slowly no doubt. Lets hope so...

    I know of one very recently and no lice so that sure was a good sign....

    Did you guys happen to get a weight on it? Dead Coyote Loads? Are these a factory round? What choke in the shotgun?

    Kenai Coyotes and Wolves have had lice for 40 years. It has not gone away yet, don't expect it ever will. Thanks to Tony Knowles the Wolves in the Interior now have lice. But it's cold enough up here that the ones with lice are dying off.

    That's the third Kenai wolf this year with No lice, that I've heard of.

    What's your gun setup for the Hevi Shot?

    I am curious about the lice comments. I thought that lice was a very common occurrence on most wild critters. Are you guys talking about mange or are my preconceptions about lice and wild critters incorrect? Forgive my ignorance please.

    Can you refresh my memory, What did Tony Knowles do to cause interior wolves to get lice? (I mean other than the fact that he is a politician, which is in itself a form of parasite.)

    Don't know how I missed this thread last spring but I got a coyote in November of 2012 on the peninsula and it had no lice, very few fleas.
